MICRO-FUE METHOD

Micro FUE – Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) is Turkey’s most popular hair transplantation technique. This method is celebrated for being minimally invasive, offering short recovery periods and minimal postoperative discomfort while enabling the transplantation of a more significant number of follicular units. In the MicroFUE hair transplant process, hair follicles are extracted from the donor area as follicular units or micrografts. These micrografts include one, two, or three hair roots, along with portions of the skin and subcutaneous tissue, depending on the gland’s unit structure. This procedure is notably less invasive, involving no cuts, stitches, or significant pain, with a recovery time of just 2-3 days and a higher overall number of implants.

The transplantation process involves the following stages:

Extraction Phase: Follicles are meticulously removed from the donor area using an extractor with a diameter smaller than 1 mm. This precision ensures the follicles remain undamaged and, when maintained at a particular temperature, minimizes trauma and enhances treatment efficacy.

Implantation Phase: The follicles are inserted into the target area using a specialized device (implanter), which minimizes trauma to the scalp and guarantees the treatment’s effectiveness. This direct placement on the scalp eliminates the need for pre-drilling or cutting.

Specialist-Determined Direction and Density: Experts determine the direction and density of the new hair, ensuring a natural appearance and 100% increased longevity.

FUE Method Features:

The FUE technique involves no cuts or stitches in the donor area, only tiny holes (0.6-0.9 mm in diameter) that close approximately three days post-procedure. Grafts obtained from the donor area can be used to transplant hair, beards, and eyebrows. Depending on the quality of the donor area, a single session can yield approximately 4000 – 6000 follicles, with each graft containing 1-3 hairs, averaging about two hairs per graft. This technique allows for planting approximately 50-60 grafts per square centimeter. The FUE method is favored for its brief recovery time and lack of postoperative pain. The entire hair transplant process typically lasts 4-5 hours.
